Marta Giers-Sanecka

Marta Giers-Sanecka

Actress, art therapist, socio–therapist. She has been working in The Kana Theatre team since 1999. She graduated from the faculty of Sociology at the University of Szczecin.

  • "Geist" – The Kana Theatre (premiere January 26, 2007, role: Girl, directed by Zygmunt Duczyński completed by A. Buszko) 
  • "Łasztownia/Lastadie - Szwalnia Trąborybów" ["Lastadie - Sewing room of Trąboryby"] – Weronika Fibich, (Szczecin, Polska - Październik 2006);
  • "Widmokrąg"  ["The Circle of Spectres"] – The Kana Theatre & The Stettiners Theater (street performance, editions 2002/2003/2004, directed by Zygmunt Duczyński and Janusz Turkowski); 
  • "Miłość Fedry" ["Phaedra’s Love"] – The Kana Theatre (premiere December 6, 2002, role: Moira, directed by Zygmunt Duczyński)

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY: 

  • The "Akademia Edukacyjna" Foundation – artistic projects: "W poszukiwaniu siebie" ["In search of yourself"], "Obrazy życia" ["Images of life"], "Maski życia" ["Masks of life"], "Przestrzenie" ["Spaces"], within the frames of the programs for the prevention of psychoactive drugs addictions among youth, since 2008; 
  • The "Feniks" Association – the film project "Zamknięta 5" ["5 Closed street"] – within the frames of the prevention of alcohol addiction among socially excluded people; 
  • as part of the project "Ćpanie Sztuki" ["Junky of Art”] (art therapy with young drug addicts) 2003 – 2006;
  • with children from the "Zielony Dwór" Orphanage and the Educational Centre for youth in Szczecin 2011; 
  • with the integration group in The Kana Theatre – the project "Odwaga Tworzenia" ["Courage of creation"] 2008; 
  • with youth at the  International Art Research Location Schloss Broellin, Germany, since 2004. 
  • with the permanent theater group Połwisko (2018-2022) - realized performances: "To były akacje" (2019), "Bez nazwy"(2020), "Manchineel" (2021), "Arytmia" (2022)
